As most of you know, The Melt is closely affiliated with the TeamSupreme crew. For those of you who are unfamiliar, TeamSupreme is a weekly beat cypher, where every week a different producer from the crew picks two samples and a BPM. The files get passed around, and everybody has roughly one hour to make a beat. After 40 weeks of cyphers, we’re proud to announce that we’re embarking on our first release. TeamSupreme Collection v.01 comes out on Alpha Pup Records digitally on January 29th. The compilation includes tracks by all of the crew members (Djemba Djemba, Preston James, DJ Nobody, Colta, Kloud, Dot, Kendo, etc.).
